Kimchi: Our time here was amazing. I never had high expectations for Veggie Grill before because I kind of just classified vegetarian food as salad and healthy. Wrong! It can be as unhealthy and delicious as you want it to be.

Santa Fe Crispy Chickin’

Kimchi: The outside breading was so crispy – glad it lives up to its name. Surprisingly, the wheat bun was delicious as well. The avocado made each bite really creamy. Careful bites will reveal the vegetarian chicken, but when you’ve got a lot of the breading along with the other parts of the burger, you might not even notice it’s not real chicken. Since I used my birthday certificate, I got a complimentary upgrade of the side into the sweet potato fries with chipotle ranch. SO GOOD. I am a huge fan of sweet potato fries, and these get a thumbs up from me.

I also loved the drinks they had. The peach black tea and the pomegranate green tea were superb. They tasted sweet and fruity, but I could still taste some of the tea base. Just how I like it.

Martini: As a carnivorous guy, I don’t really give Veggie Grill and vegan food a second thought. But after eating the chicken sandwich today, I definitely recommend Veggie Grill to all the guys out there. It’s really good. I literally had to ask Kimchi twice¬† if this was real chicken. I was in disbelief. While, this won’t fool all the hardcore meat lovers out there, it’s as close as you can get to real meat and it’s tasty as well.

Carrot Cake

Carrot Cake

Kimchi: It’s hard to believe the entire cake is vegan. The cake is very moist with ample frosting on top. Very satisfying.

Martini: We were blown away by the carrot cake. The frosting on top was really thick and sweet. Best carrot cake I’ve ever had.
